Spent his early career in commercial art, then many years in book illustration (Warne's Observer's Pocket Books alone contain over 500 of his illustations). This is his third appearance at the Carre Gallery.

Experienced art tutor, he works mainly in oils. His favourite subjects include aircraft, old buildings, woodland, animals and occasional portraits.
